Chamonix Snow Report: 30th November 2004

So this must be it - what we consider to the first real 'dump' of the season! Last night the snow was patchy and icy and ground was showing through. This morning the ground was covered in 10cm of fresh fallen snow! What a relief as the situation was getting a little desperate - more is expected at the end of the week. Still, none of the lifts are yet open so we have no idea what is going on up top.
