Chamonix Snow Report: 7th January 2004
Unfortunately there is not much new stuff to report. It hasn't snowed since last week though cold temperatures have meant that the conditions have been largely preserved. The slopes are getting a little scrapped though that is only to be expected.
Off-piste is tracked and choppy but still comfortable. Just be aware that it is not very thick. The avalanche risk is still set at 3 but we haven't seen or heard of any major slides. Essentially, things have stabilised a fair amount but heed the warnings nonetheless.
