Chamonix Snow Report: 9th December 2003
Well, the Grands Montets opened last weekend and there has been skiing up there since then, though not a lot. The Bochard and Marmottons lifts are open only at the weekends for the moment, and the Lognan all week - giving access to a few runs and some off-piste.
The snow cover is reasonable, if a little icy. The good news is that it is deep enough to cover the rocks and it is very quiet so there are no queues.

The remaining lifts/ski areas are closed for repair and maintenance work so no skiing yet, expected opening is after 15th December.
