Charity Dinner & Art Auction, Chamonix Main Town
Art for Change & Good Story present this charity evening
Good Story are a great charity that provides mentoring, training and funding to young, creative entrepreneurs to help them overcome barriers and turn their passions and talents into a sustainable business.
On Friday the 22nd of May a special charity event will be hosted at the restaurant L'Impossible.
The event will raise money and awareness for Good Story and their young artists and creatives, while promoting some wonderful artists here in Chamonix, through an exhibition and auction event to be held in the excellent local gastronomic restaurant; L'Impossible.
The evening begins at 6:30 pm. There will be champagne, nibbles and some wonderful live jazz to sit back and enjoy, bought to you by the talented local pianist; Erik Brinkman. Guests are invited to peruse the art on display and meet some of the local artists.
At 7:30 pm we will be seated ready to enjoy a delicious 3 course dinner, lovingly prepared by Auro and the team, with only the finest (and where possible) organic, local ingredients. Everything at L’Impossible is handmade, from the bread to the pasta, in traditional Italian style and every dish they serve is of the highest quality and extremely tasty! A vegetarian option is available (just let us know when reserving/buying your ticket if you are a vegetarian).
Around 8:30/9 pm the auction will begin. We have a wonderful and eclectic selection of art for this very special auction, some of which is from Good Story’s artists and some of which has been created by Chamonix’s own local artists. As well as some incredible paintings and prints there will be a prospective mural, beautiful fashion items, handmade soft furnishings amongst other surprises on which to bid.

The charity Good Story was started in memory of Mimi Watts, a talented fashion designer who tragically died in a snowboarding accident in Chamonix, December 2012. The trustees, who comprise Mimi's family and close friends, have been hoping to do a fundraising event in Chamonix since the charity's birth.
