Fire in an Apartment in Pelerins Yesterday
3 dogs alone in the apartment as it caught fire
A fire broke out in an apartment in Les Pelerins yesterday morning.
The kitchen fire started in a first floor apartment, and neighbours alerted the fire brigade who quickly got to the scene to extinguish it.
The person living in the apartment was apparently not in the apartment at the time, only their three dogs. Around 20 inhabitants and the dogs were evacuated whilst the fire was brought under control.
One woman was taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation.
The tenant and their pets will be rehomed.
