New Mulets in town!
Mulets are making a come-back in Chamonix, and not we are not talking about dodgy haircuts (mentioning no-one Mr Trigell). In this case we are referring to the new bus shuttles which are now set to run the routes around town.
This service has been named after the mules which once were used in the valley to transport visitors to and from the sites. The new motorised versions will run circuits in Chamonix centre where the large buses can no longer pass easily due to pedestrianisation schemes and a general trend towards removing diesel fumes from the streets of the resort. The Mulets have connection points to the main bus service which will continue to run to the main lift areas and villages.
