Take to the slopes.......on two wheels!
No need to put your mountain bike away in the garage when winter comes, at least not if you're holidaying in Les Deux Alpes that is. A popular destination with mountain bikers in the summer months, the southern alpine resort is now proposing you take to the piste on two wheels. Mountain biking is set to become a major pastime outside skiing hours and thrill seekers can book now for an adrenaline packed evening on the 3rd of March, when a moonlight descent is planned from the top of the glacier at 3400m to the resort at 1600m. You can get your buzz (and your dinner!) for a mere 40euros!
For those of you with a more modest view of adventure, six snow bike sessions will be held on the slopes between 7.30 and 9am (25euros including breakfast) and last but by no means least, is the bike park. Open all summer, the park (free admission) will be back in action weekly on Thursdays between 6.30pm and 8.30pm and on Wednesdays during the holidays.
