The Mont Blanc Marathon is one of the most popular running events of the summer and of the trail running calendar. The 2019 event is set to take place from June 27th to 30th.

With eight races spread across four days, the Mont Blanc Marathon in the Chamonix valley is one of the largest international gatherings of trail runners, attracting athletes from across the globe. As of Monday, October 15th 2018 the online registration process will begin. As in previous years, registrations for the 23km, 42km and 90km races are subject to a draw and are exclusively online.

The 2019 edition will see the return of the 'Duo Étoilé' for its third year, allowing participants to discover the unique atmosphere of a night race in teams of two, tackling 19km with an elevation gain of 1270m. Starting in centre of Chamonix at 21:00, the race will take participants up to the Alpages de Blaitière and over to the Refuge du Plan de l'aiguille before returning back to the centre of town.
