Chamonix Snow Report: 17th February 2004
The air is cold but the sun is out - quite a pleasant combination for skiing in really. The only negative is the number of people at the moment making the lift queues so long. That is only to be expected byt the contrast to the low season is marked. (You know which we would recommend to you!!).
Skiing is of the same as recent, firm, with good coverage. SNow is forecast on and after Wednesday.
It is no longer possible to ski back to the town (unless you want rough ride) but nevermind.
The PanoChamCam is now fully operational...we have some great images now available on the site webcams index. We have a few more on their way....
