Chamonix Snow Report: 23 February 2004
We have just issued a Dump Alert! (At least a mini-Dump). It has been snowing most of the day and this means we expect lots of fresh snow up top, although in town things are still clear.
Most of the lifts have been open as the wind has been much lower than of recent times. The new fall will add to the good cover which is there already and provide some enjoyment on what was becoming very 'pisted off-piste'.
It is no longer possible to ski back to the town (unless you want rough ride) but nevermind.
The PanoChamCam is now fully operational...we have some great images now available on the site webcams index. We have a few more on their way....
We'll keep you updated - sign up for the Dump Alert! We only let you know about significant falls and you can unsubscribe at any time.
