Chamonix Snow Report: 2nd December 2003
The whole of the mountains were hit by a flurry of snow at the end of last week, creating a good covering for the slopes. Some other resorts have already opened but Cham is biding its time - which is good for building the base.
So not much to report this time - we are waiting in anticipation....

Most of the lifts are closed for repair and maintenance work so no skiing yet, expect opening is after 15th December.
Meanwhile everyone continues to prepare for the winter, or is taking a well earned holiday. The town is reasonably quiet / shut / being repaired for the moment.
