Chamonix Snow Report: 3rd January 2004
It hasn't snowed since last week though cold temperatures have meant that the conditions have been largely preserved. The slopes are getting a little scrapped though that is only to be expected.
Off-piste is tracked and choppy but still comfortable. Just be aware that it is not very thick. The avalanche risk is still set at 3 but we have seen or heard of any slides. Essentially, things have stabilised a fair amount but heed the warnings nonetheless.
