Chamonix Snow Report: 9th January 2004
There is snow in the air... The weather has been overcast and very cloudy today. Snow is falling though not in the town. The snow is due to continue for 2-3days so conditions are changing for the better. This is great of the piste and off-piste obviously as things were getting pretty worn.
There will be an increased risk of avalanche, going from 3 to 4 out of 5.
Don't forget there is hopefully the Kandahar World Cup ski race taking place in Les Houches tomorrow. Let's hope the weather holds out.
